Today is Wednesday. New comic day.
Therefore, get your butt to a comic shop and pick up a copy of Karma Incorporated.
I was lucky enough to get a copy and read it before today’s release. It’s a fun book by a chap named David Hopkins, with art by Tom Kurzanski and colors by Marlena Hall.
From the Karma Incorporated website:
Ever have a bad day? You get a flat tire while stuck in morning traffic. Later at work, your computer crashes and the coffee tastes like turpentine. When you think it couldn’t get any worse, your girlfriend calls to say she’s leaving. Ever have that kind of bad day? What if it’s not coincidence?Karma Incorporated is the story of two con artists, two hackers, and a retired hit man who go into business, turning a profit on minor sabotage. Each with their own motivations–
to seek revenge on ghosts of the past,
to get a steady paycheck,
to fight back the boredom of daily life,
to escape a darker profession,
to be close to the father she never knew. These mischief-makers wreck havok on everyone from the average Joe to the corporate CEO. No one is safe, if the money is right. Against better judgment, Karma Incorporated targets Rob Wilson, a previous customer, whose adulterous wife hired them. When they push Mr. Wilson too far, payback is hell.
Can’t get it in your local comic shop? Visit the publisher’s website at www.vipercomics.com.
That’s my push for the day. Back to work.
