Batman Begins is simply awesome. It started out as a pretty good movie… and then it became a very good movie. Then it became great. There were some trite moments (along with trite dialogue), but not so much that it detracted from the quality of the film. While there were a few fact-bending moments that irked the fanboy in me, it all made for a great movie. The story stayed true to the character.

Christian Bale was a great casting choice – the man can ACT – and made quite a scary Batman. That’s right, I said scary. This movie is an actual sci-fi semi-horror adventure flick. Batman is truly violent and scary in this movie, which is the way Batman should be, no matter what medium his story is told in.

I don’t have a full length review of Batman Begins. I don’t want to write one. Just go see it and experience it for yourself. As for me, I need to go experience it for a second time before I get the shakes.
