The Crypt Keeper, from “Tales From The Crypt”, by Phillip Ginn
This is my version of The Crypt Keeper from Tales From The Crypt. I never watched this show, but I loved the Danny Elfman theme song, and thought the “animated” corpse was a pretty funny-looking dude. This was done with a Maru dip pen nib and Koh-I-Noor drawing ink on Strathmore 500 2-ply Bristol Board.
Inktober was created in 2009 by artist Jake Parker. His goal was to challenge himself to improve his inking skills and work on developing better drawing habits. Since then, many illustrators around the world participate in Inktober, drawing as many ink drawings as they can – the standard being one a day – throughout October, and they share their work via social media.
