DRUM LESSONS IN SACRAMENTO

I’ve been drums teaching since fall of 1995, covering rudimental percussion and drumset. In my lessons, there’s an emphasis on theory, technique, traditional and match grip, and “conceptual drumming” – ways in which to approach the craft. A multitude of styles and genres are covered, including modern marching, rock, funk, basic Latin, and basic jazz.

Lessons are catered to the student’s needs and what they’re interested in learning.

• $21.25 per 45-minute weekly lesson ($85 per average month) *
• $20 per 30-minute weekly lesson ($80 per average month) *

For very studious and attentive students, I do offer hour-long weekly lessons on occasion. Please contact me for prices and availability.

* Monthly totals are based on an average 4-week month. Please note that, depending on which day of the week you choose to have a lesson, some months have more weeks while some have less. Therefore, in some months the fee will be slightly higher and some will be slightly lower.

* Typically, music shop lesson prices are around $90 a month for a 30-minute lesson a week.

• $25 for 45-minute, a la carte lesson (no weekly schedule) on a pay-per-diem basis.
• For house calls, an additional amount may be added to cover gas and travel depending on location.
